Tesla Cybertruck might enter Russia-Ukraine war after Chechen leader puts machine gun on one

Image
Tesla Cybertruck might enter the war in Russia and Ukraine on the Russian side, as the leader of the Chechen region got one and put a machine gun on it. Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Russia’s Chechen region, has one of the worst modern human records as the defacto dictator of Chechnya for the past two decades. He has been directly implicated in countless torture and murders. But he loves Elon Musk and the Tesla Cybertruck. In messages on Telegram, Kadyrov shared images of himself driving a Cybertruck on which he had a machine gun installed: Kadyrov said he received a Tesla Cybertrack from Elon Musk. He promised to send it to the “special military operation” zone and attached a machine gun to it. “Elon, thank you! Come to Grozny, I will receive you as the most dear guest! Lucid CEO expects Tesla to match Lucid Air’s present efficiency in 2032

Image
By Simon Alvarez Posted on August 14, 2024 Lucid Motors CEO Peter Rawlinson recently highlighted just how far ahead the Lucid Air is compared to its competitors when it comes to efficiency. As per Rawlinson, if Tesla were to maintain its rate of progress, the Model S would match the Lucid Air Pure’s present efficiency figures in 2032.  The Lucid CEO shared his bold observation in a post on his LinkedIn page , where he highlighted the fact that the Lucid Air Pure has achieved 5.0 miles per kWh and 146 MPGe. This, the CEO noted, effectively makes the Lucid Air Pure the most efficient production car to date. Rawlinson included an image comparing the Lucid Air’s efficiency against its rivals to highlight his point.  Credit: Peter Rawlinson /LinkedIn “Efficiency is of critical importance in making a better, lighter, more spacious, longer-range vehicle, and directly impacts cost to manufacture. Elon Musk is wrong about climate change

Image
Elon Musk seems to have forgotten some of the basics of how climate change works, so we’re going to set the record clear about it now. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, participated in a call last night with three-time republican nominee for President, Donald Trump. One portion of this discussion was particularly relevant to our coverage of electric cars and climate change, and thus, it behooves us at Electrek to clear up some of the misconceptions that people might have taken away if they listened in. Musk, despite previously showing some understanding of climate issues – at one point remarking correctly and succinctly that “ Climate change is real. Leaving Paris is not good for America or the world ” – instead tonight repeated several fossil-industry talking points which show a lack of understanding of how climate change works Mr. Trump, for his part, pushed even more severe climate disinformation than Musk, some of which Musk offered mild pushback to, though Musk largely compromised t
